Refined castor oil(RCO) is produced by refining Commercial Grade Castor Oil(CCO) which is produced by crushing the steam cooked castor seeds in expeller. The CCO is refined by undergoing bleaching and filtering process, which helps to reduce colour, F.F.A. and Moisture content. Refined Castor Oil is further used for the production of other castor oil derivatives and valuable industrial products.

Pale Pressed Grade Castor Oil is a form of Refined Castor Oil that is characteristically clear and free from suspended matter. It is light in color and low in acidity, it is obtained from the first pressing of the castor seed.
Pale Pressed Castor Oil is a premium quality product in Castor Oil category which is used in as raw material for industrial products that require oil with lighter color and lower acidity. With proper certification, the pale oil may also be acceptable for medicinal, pharmaceutical and cosmetic use. Other uses are similar as Refined Castor Oil.

Low Moisture Castor Oil is a special grade of castor oil for specific applications that require minimum moisture content. Low Moisture Castor Oil is specially used in urethane blowing and urethane molding. The product is also unique in its properties for the synthesis of polymers and polyurethanes

Commercial grade castor oil is one of the standard & most common grades of castor oil, used for many industrial applications. It is also known as the industrial grade castor oil. It is a pale yellow, viscous, oily liquid insoluble in water. It contains more than 87% of a unique hydroxy fatty acid viz.Ricinoleic acid.
Industrial or commercial grade castor oil is obtained from a mixture of the first pressing and second phase of production - solvent extraction. It can act as a substrate for the preparation of other grades of castor oil including DCO, FSG castor oil, Turkey red oil and Pale pressed castor oil etc.

First Pressed Degummed Castor Oil is an early product of Castor Oil produced by degumming, which involves removal of plant polymeric substances so as to improve oil's texture and colour. Castor oil that is first pressed, filtered and then degummed has the unique lubricating properties of castor without the excessive buildup and carbon. This grade is hence used in the lubricant industry in a significant manner.
This grade has similar properties to Commercial Castor Oil with lower colour.
